Everyone's right. Kind of a hole-in-the wall place but very good sandwiches. Chalkboard is hard to read (small print descriptions) as there are so many sandwiches listed - be nice if there were some printed versions available. Bit of a wait before someone acknowledged us, but we weren't in a hurry and the food was worth it. We had the Cuban and the Meridian( both were tasty. Pleasant service.

If you want perhaps the best sandwich you ever ate, you need to eat at Wheelhouse. I will be going there every time I am in PCB from now on. The owner described it as a "hole in the wall" and that appropriately describes it, but there are a few tables. Service is unparalleled by any I've seen--you will leave friends with all the staff. They offer approximately 20-25 different sandwiches. We had the Meridian which is smoked beef on a toasted bun with tomato, onion, lettuce, horseradish on a very fresh bun. At the next table they were eating a Reuben and it looked so good, I wish the table had shared. The sandwiches are huge. My wife and I ordered one large and both left full. Service was fast. Even after the owner put the "Closed" sign on the door, (because she had been so slammed with customers she was running out of food) she continued to let people come in and order. One customer came in and asked for a sandwich which was not on the menu and the owner accommodated him. What a great place! I'll be back. My only regret is that I can't give the restaurant more stars.

LOVE THIS PLACE!!!! They have delicious sandwhiches such as the JJ and the sailboat and tuesday they have specials that changes every week such as carne asadas (you have to go a little early on those days because its pretty busy), Loco moco, Sweet and Sour spareribs, curry chicken, split pea soup with smoked ham and so much more. The owners are awesome, the staffs friendly. Its a great place to eat.

Pretty amazing sandwiches! Try to avoid peak lunch times, they get busy and it could take a while. But if you've git the time, it's well worth the wait! Ways playing some good music too!

We have been try to eat there for a while. I hear it is great! They were closed last Saturday even though the door said they were suppose to be open. I have heard this from several people as well. I will rate it once we catch them open.

We just arrived to PC beach looking for a great sandwich place and this little place is awesome ! The owner cares about every sandwich that is made . The sandwiches are huge and yummy.

This place is AMAZING!!!! It has the best sandwiches ever. It's small and attached to the gas station, so it may not look like much but you will be missing out of you don't go. Service is always top notch and weather you dine in or grab and go you will not be sorry.

Definitely a hole in the wall, looks like it's part of the gas station and the decor could use some help. BUT, the service was totally awesome and the sandwiches were amazing. Like, so good. Pretty cool drink machine too. Almost like a beer tap. I'd definitely go again and recommend it to anyone.

After a string of disappointing meals during my trip to Panama City, I had a BBQ sandwich that blew my mind. I came with a bunch of guys from work so the stakes were high because I was the one that recommended Wheelhouse based on the reviews - it definitely rose to the occasion. I'm not normally a sandwich guy but this place crushed it! Five of us got the Wednesday special, the BBQ and one guy got the Reuben, al of them were fantastic. I'll definitely come back again before I leave!

Wow! Deli with Hawaiian flavor! In from Texas for a couple of days found the place on yelp, thought the reviews were artificially high, nope! local navy and dock guys waiting for food, took a bit, sandwiches are made to order. Awesome! Wish we were staying another day.

I went here twice during family vacation and it was amazing!!! I had Hawaiian style breakfast on the first visit and one of the best sandwiches I have ever eaten on the second visit! I ordered the Schooner and had to share! It is HUGE!!! Make sure you get it pressed and painted!!! Sooooo good!! Definitely a place I will visit again!!!

This place was great and the staff was so friendly. When we went into the deli, it was full of locals...always a good sign when looking for a place to eat on vacation. If we're in the area again, we'll go back for sure!

Great subs with a creative twist. I love eating here and the staff is super friendly. They sell an 8 and 12 inch sub and will press it for you. Wheelhouse is much better then the chains and is locally owned and operated.

Yes, Yelpers are right! This is a little hidden gem in PCB. Next to a gas station. Great sandwiches. I am glad I went there on the suggestions here. I went with the most picky people in the world (in laws), they had little to complain about.

My guilty pleasure... I am so devoted to my frigate! I usually visit once a week.... ( bad habit I know LOL) I love the pressed and painted, the seasoning they use. SO good, would recommend this place to anyone! Puts all sandwich shops in PCB and surrounding areas to shame.
